CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY – STAR OF BLACK COUNTRY EXPO
As the countdown continues to this year’s Black Country Chamber of Commerce Autumn Expo event on 11th October, exhibitors at the event, Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, have announced that the ‘star attraction’ on their stand this year will be none other than the Championship Trophy, won by the team at the end of last season.
The trophy, lifted by captains Danny Batth and Conor Coady after the team were crowned champions, will sit pride of place throughout the day on stand 25, and will be cared for by members of the business team from Molineux.
Ben Biffen, Business Development Manager and Julian Britton, Conference & Banqueting Manager, will be on hand to show visitors the trophy and allow them to be photographed with the silverware throughout the day in the Stadium Suite at Walsall FC between 9am and 1pm.
Julian said, “We understand what the Championship trophy means to our club, our fans and people of the Black Country in general so where better to show it off than a Black Country Expo. We are immensely proud of what our team have achieved on the pitch and our team of people off the pitch match that ethic of pride, work rate and professionalism at Molineux Stadium.”
The Black Country Chamber Autumn Expo provides a great networking opportunity and is one of the most effective ways to promote and build a business profile, a must for any company looking to connect, share information with existing contacts, and make new business contacts. The event puts the Black Country on the map and as a place to do business with, its free to attend and business people from around the wider Midlands region are encouraged to come along to see just what businesses in the Black Country have to offer.
The Black Country Chamber have organised a number of business presentations from visiting speakers, as well as speed networking opportunities throughout the morning, starting from 9.30am; with hundreds already registered to visit and more expected to register in the final few days before the event kicks off at the Bescot Stadium.
This year’s event is expected to surpass the success of previous Expos with manufacturing, IT, legal, accountancy, finance, insurance, HR, recruitment and training; along with banking, finance, education, logistics, health & safety, public relations, workwear & apparel, retail, hotels, leisure, tourism, events and the conferencing sectors all represented.
